Do you recall the phrase, “if you do not stand for something you will fall for anything”? This quote can apply to so many different actions that can happen to any individual. At Swinging Richards, we are standing up for our rights, so that we will not fall to the hand of discrimination. Don’t let the fear of city officials put an end to one of the hottest spots in Miami. We are calling on all people who are for equality for all to join our efforts to stay around for years to come.

We would like to extend our thanks to everyone that has signed the online petition; however, we still need more action form our loyal supporters. Social media is the medium for getting the word out to the masses. We continue to post to our many pages online, but we need you to do the same. Tweet the petition link to all your friends. Post a link to the petition on your Facebook page. These feeds alone can boost the numbers of supporters and signatures. If you have a huge following, you can help us tremendously. Let’s mix old school methods with new technology. If you have an iPad, you can pull up the petition online and go door-to-door to get signatures from family and friends. Ring the alarm! Discrimination is afoot, prowling the streets of North Miami Beach. Swinging Richards is taking a stance against the city of North Miami Beach in order to get equality and to stay open. Although we have become a very popular business within Miami nightlife, the fight for gay rights is never over.

Swinging Richards prides itself in being the only gay male strip club that offers all nude dancers all the time. According to the city of North Miami Beach, we are in violation of a city ordinance that prohibits the sale of alcohol where there is full nudity.
In order to let North Miami Beach know we are not going to take this discrimination lying down, we started a petition online for anyone and everyone to sign in support of Swinging Richards. The more signatures we can get the better. We are asking you to pass the petition over to as many people as possible so we can obtain more signatures. Please take a moment to sign this petition, letting city officials know that North Miami Beach should be committed to serving needs and interests which reflect the diversity of its population. Thanks for your support!

Pride weekend has passed us by, and we partied like there was no tomorrow. But wait…there is a tomorrow night. Our pride continues. In case you haven’t pieced it together yet, every night is all the way live at Swinging Richards. We take pride in being the only upscale, all nude adult entertainment club in South Florida.

Swinging Richards of Florida is gearing up for Miami Beach Gay Pride 2012 next weekend on April 15th. Every Friday and Saturday is a party, but next weekend will be legendary.  An influx of visitors will come from miles around to enjoy the festivities celebrating our GBLT community. Events start on Thursday April 12^th thru Sunday April 15th. Block parties, pool parties and the annual pride parade. This year’s Grand Marshal is Bravo’s very own Andy Cohen. Also, don’t forget performances by high-profile celebrities.
